Vegetables ‘in agrodolce’, the Italian tradition for sweet and sour pickles, make the perfect complement to our range – their brightness and acidity really cuts through rich cheeses and salumi so all you have to do is choose whether you want them in oil and vinegar, just vinegar, with chilli or without and cut big or small. The Giardiniera di Anna vegetables are washed and cut into medium size pieces before being steamed. Each is cooked separately to ensure it keeps its fabulous crunch before being placed in jars with white wine vinegar, slices of ginger, 1 peperoncino chilli, a small quantity of sugar and sea salt from Cervia.
