Mauro and Chiara make their salame alla birra using craft beer from a local brewery instead of the more normal red wine. Good bacteria feed on the sugar in the alcohol along with the small quantity of honey that goes in to the mix and start the fermentation process. The salami are aged for about a month after which time they are tender and lean and have a lovely hoppy hint.
Made in Piedmont. This salami will arrived vacuum packed and should be eaten within 2 weeks of opening
