Organic Cicerchia. 500g

Cicerchia is an ancient legume found in pockets of Italy; we first ate it in Sicily but now it is quite widely grown in Umbria. The flavour is similar to that of a chickpea but with a freshness to it that crosses the flavour with that of a pea. It can replace chickpeas in most recipes and is especially good dressed and served with garlic fried greens or grilled meat
