La Scarpetta Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Mignola 2025 Harvest

Harvested in October & November 2025, three oils come to us from Cinzia Paci in Recanati, Le Marche. Cinzia has 1000 trees that she farms organically.

Cinzia’s olives trees had been abandoned for over 30 years until she took them on 5 years ago. The oldest trees in the grove, 100s of years old, are Mignola, a variety that is found in a very small area to the south and west of Ancona. The fruits are small and picked by hand early in the season, so it is very high in polyphenols. 

The oil is complex: on the palate artichoke and green tomato dominate while the perfume is deceptively sweet.

To try on: An excellent oil that will elevate any dish; lentil and bean soups, autumn greens or simply grilled meat

1ltr tin or 3ltr bag in a box (an excellent way to stop contact with the air from degrading the oil)
